Adam Farber, LCSW has more than 7 years of clinical experience helping children, adolescents, adults, couples and families struggling with a wide range of difficulties including but not limited to anxiety, depression, adjustment to change/loss, ADHD and behavioral difficulties. Adam’s clinical background includes time spent working in Family-Based, Partial Hospitalization School-Based and private practice settings.
Adam works collaboratively with his clients with the aim of identifying what will best support meeting therapeutic needs and goals. Adam pulls from a multiple therapeutic approaches with a primary emphasis on developing and utilizing the therapeutic relationship to help clients of all ages learn new and creative ways of coping with emotional challenges.
Adam is originally from New York, and came to Pittsburgh almost 10 years ago to complete his undergraduate degree in Social Work at The University of Pittsburgh. After completion of his graduate degree at NYU in 2010, Adam moved back to Pittsburgh where he continues to plant roots in this culturally rich and diverse city.
