Dr. Monica Conn is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides care to all individuals. Monica Conn is trained and certified to evaluate/treat “across the lifespan”- children through geriatrics. Her soon to be published research project conveys her expertise in anxiety and implementing the evidence-based guidelines in the treatment of it. She provides psychiatric diagnosis, medication treatment and management. Specializing in anxiety disorders, along with experience in managing of depression, bipolar, PTSD, ADHD, schizophrenia and substance use disorders.
Dr. Conn believes in a holistic, body-mind-spirit approach, and believes patient centered care is the cornerstone of successful outcomes. Dr. Monica Conn wholeheartedly believes the client has to agree with the treatment plan for it to work. Thus she listens closely to her patient’s concerns. She also feel that 100% remission is the goal of mental health treatment and that people do recover.
She received her Bachelors in Nursing from the Pennsylvania State University. Followed up by a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Robert Morris University. She is originally from Pittsburgh, PA and currently lives in the North Hills with her husband and two dogs.
