Alexis McFadden, LCSW, CCTP

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Certified Clinical Trauma Professional

Hi, I’m Alexis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our Robinson clinic. I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, substance use concerns, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, and major life stressors. My background includes working with survivors of sexual violence, individuals in recovery, and people managing the emotional impact of complex health conditions. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself, without fear of judgment.

I use CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and elements of EMDR and Parts Work. Whether you’re working through trauma, managing anxiety, navigating a difficult relationship, or trying to better understand yourself, we will work together to identify what may be keeping you stuck and move toward meaningful change.

Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, and reaching out isn’t always easy. You don’t need the right words or a clear goal for your first session. I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions, and even laughing when it feels right. My goal is a space where you feel supported, understood, and not judged.
