Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

My ideal client is one that is open to help, new ideas, and new ways of looking at their identified problems. My ideal client wants a better life, are tired of how they are feeling and are going through life. They are open and honest with me and understand that doing so is the only way to be successful in overcoming their identified problems/disease process. They are willing to learn about their disease process, are open to learning new techniques and methods to treat their conditions.

I am dual certified as a family nurse practitioner and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Clients with ADHD and those with substance use/alcohol use disorders hold special place in my heart, however, am comfortable treating a variety of conditions.

I offer every client my full attention, respect, and should know I genuinely care and will listen to them. I understand that medications alone are not always enough, and we are partners in the process of managing their disease process.
