Hello, I am Dr. Ann McAllister and I provide psychiatric services to persons 13-99yrs at our Bloomfield clinic.
I am Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and been helping persons with all manner of psychiatric disorders and have provided therapy for over 25 years. It has been my highest privilege to help persons ameliorate psychiatric symptoms and help persons find themselves and their strengths. I believe there is no area I cannot try to help a person with, and help them feel better, less symptomatic and enjoy a more enhanced present life.
I have extensive experience treating sex offenders and sex offender victims. I have done this in my private practice, my own forensic corporation, for the Courts and for the Federal Government. I have worked with the Catholic Church and priest perpetrators and their victims as well Over time I have transitioned to a more conventional adult practice.
I look forward to meeting new patients and working over time toward wellness and helping persons achieve their potential. The big step is taken by you, the patient, on your journey; this is not an easy step and I am consistently humbled by persons brave that first step.
