Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
My clients are open to the idea of hard-work in order to obtain their goals. They are uncomfortable with, yet open to change. Some matters are predetermined, while others become evident mid-session. Therefore, flexibility is key.
I utilize a strengths-based approach to mental health. My personal belief is that everybody excels at something. My goal is to help you bring your talent to the surface. We can do this by building your motivation and confidence with Motivational Interviewing (MI). Let’s work together to identify and challenge any negative or unhelpful thoughts that naturally invade our minds with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Or perhaps we can focus on accepting any difficult thoughts or feelings with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). No matter how we get there, YOU are the focus of each session, and YOUR goals are priority. YOU have all the answers; we will work as a team to realize your full potential.
I get it: Life is difficult when things go smoothly, let alone when it feels like things are falling apart. Change is hard even when proper planning is in place. Let’s talk — there is a good chance you’ll feel better. That’s the ‘magic’ of therapy.
