Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Hi, I’m Hollis, a psychiatric nurse practitioner who works with children, adolescents, and adults at our Shadyside clinic. My background includes community mental health and experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. I have a particular interest in working with women, including those navigating pregnancy and the postpartum period, as well as LGBTQIA+ individuals. I take a thoughtful, individualized approach to care, focusing on understanding the full picture of what you’re experiencing and helping you feel supported and more confident in your mental health.
I provide medication management for a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, and substance use. I have a particular interest in women’s mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum, as well as LGBTQIA+ care. My goal is to work together and develop a treatment plan that feels realistic and fits your life.
Starting mental health care can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to be honest about what you’re going through. I value open communication and collaboration, and I look forward to working together to help you feel more like yourself again.
