Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I enjoy working with younger adults who are trying to better understand who they are and how they fit into the world. They often struggle with mood and anxiety disorders as well as ADHD. They have a need to be seen and understood, to feel heard and validated. Goals might include emotional stability, coping skills, higher self-esteem, better boundary setting skills, and feeling internally validated with a stronger sense of who they truly are and who they want to be.
I have an eclectic style that begins with a humanistic approach- everyone one deserves to feel unequivocally loved and accepted. I begin from that starting point with all my clients and use the techniques and modalities that are appropriate to their needs and goals.
I began this journey on the other side of the room, struggling with depression and ADHD. I am open and inviting to everyone from all walks of life and feel that everyone has a story worth sharing. Being invited along a client’s journey is an honor I feel lucky to have a part in.
