Therapist Intern

Hello, I’m Jill Mazza. I am an Intern at our Meadowlands clinic!

My primary focus is adults navigating life‑stage transitions.

These times of change can bring uncertainty, anxiety, or low mood as we adjust to new expectations or circumstances. Many people come to therapy when long‑standing patterns or shifts in mood start making life feel harder.

In therapy, we slow down and look at how things are unfolding for you. Together, we explore your relationships and the behaviors that shape how you feel and function.

We look at what’s within your control, what’s getting in the way, and what next steps feel doable. You can build clarity and confidence, learn practical coping skills, and explore the meaning within your experiences.

I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other flexible, evidence‑based approaches to support you best. My background in communication‑skills teaching strengthens my person‑centered approach and the way I use psychoeducation with clients.

Feeling steadier and functioning better day to day is possible. Therapy can help you get there.
