Mental Health Counselor
Hello! I’m Juliana Collins, a current counseling student graduating in May 2026. I am expected to receive associate licensure after graduation, and I will be a therapist at New Directions in the South Hills. I have experience working with teens and adults in inpatient and outpatient school therapy settings. My goal is to provide a supportive space for you to express and work through your thoughts and feelings. I use CBT and DBT to work through difficult emotions and give my clients the support and skills they need to grow. While working together, you will receive my full acceptance, understanding, and support.
Working together will allow you to explore your feelings in a space free of judgement. Using CBT and DBT, we will work on building coping strategies and communication skills to better understand your thoughts and feelings, while also improving your relationships.
I believe first step in personal growth is recognizing the need for help. It is not always easy for a person to recognize their emotions or reach out to ask for assistance, and it is extremely brave of those who do. If you are ready to take the first step, I am ready to help you on your journey to health and emotional wellbeing.
