Intern

Hello, my name is Kayla Witzke. I am an Intern at our Wexford – Stonewood clinic!

I am currently receiving my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have previously worked in Social Work. I am someone who takes a very client-centered approach and emphasizes client autonomy and independence. I am someone who will work with any client age; however, I have the most experience with adults and adolescents. My interests lie with trauma and grief work, but I am willing to work with just about any situation. I am passionate about helping individuals become the best versions of themselves and finding untapped potential for greatness.

When working with me, I will prioritize the counseling relationship and provide you with a comfortable healing environment. I am someone who is willing to utilize many different methods, but I find a Person-Centered approach with Cognitive-Behavioral interventions are my go-to.

My hope is that I can help you on your mental health journey and give you the methods you need for long-term wellness. Helping others is such a passion of mine, and I look forward to building this relationship with you.
