Monica Wallace, MS

Mental Health Counselor

Hello, neighbor. I’m Monica Wallace, a pre-licensed therapist at our Shadyside clinic. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel accepted, understood, and safe. Using strength-based, person-centered, and evidence-based approaches like CBT, I help clients manage anxiety, depression, stress, anger, and behavioral challenges. Together, we will explore your experiences, build confidence, and support your growth in a way that feels meaningful and aligned with your needs.

Together, we create a supportive space to explore your feelings and experiences. Using narrative therapy and expressive arts, I help you understand your story, strengthen communication, and build coping skills. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and behavioral challenges while building insight, confidence, and meaningful connections.

I believe acknowledging your feelings and asking for help are brave steps. It’s not always easy to share what’s on your mind, but your story matters. You are unique and deserving of care. If you’re ready to better understand yourself, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward growth, healing, and wellness.
