Mental Health Counselor

I’m Rachele Heasley, a counselor and music therapist at our South Side Flats clinic. I have experience working with teens, adults, and older adults in a variety of settings. In sessions, I believe in meeting you where you are and collaborating on the path to achieving your goals. I like to tailor my approach to support your needs, and I think that it is important to find a strategy that best compliments your strengths and preferences. Every person that comes to counseling is an individual, and their treatment plan should reflect that. Challenges are a fact of life, but they do not have to feel overwhelming or oppressive forever.

My background in the arts brings a creative edge to the therapeutic space, and I would love to help you find solutions outside the box for the big feelings and problems in your life. My goal is to build a toolbox with you that you can use throughout the therapeutic process and after our time together ends by focusing on the assets you bring to the table.

It would be an honor to travel with you on this journey to a more satisfying life by being your listening ear, your cheerleader, or just your pace keeper. You know what you need, and I can help you figure out how to make it happen. You are the expert in your own life, and I am here when you are ready to explore what that means.
