Licensed Social Worker
I am a clinician at our South Side clinic who provides therapy services!
Whatever walk of life you come from, we will work on unpacking past, present, and potential future parts of who you are to begin your journey. Working through the complicated threads of your life, we will try to make them more clear. And once it’s in focus, together, we will find tools to unravel the web. Understanding that your story is multifaceted, woven from personal history, cultural identity, systemic barriers, and inherent resilience, we will explore seeking relief, clarity and agency.
I specialize in trauma-informed therapy and culturally responsive care, using an eclectic blend of evidence-based strategies (mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy, systems therapy etc.) to fit your unique needs. I incorporate clinical frameworks that see beneath the surface to truly process what you need to heal. In this space, therapy is a collaborative exploration of your goals and supporting you to reach them.
I’m interested in working with international adoptees, immigrants, teens, adults, people of color, immigrants and the children of immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals and anybody looking for an affirming, empathetic space.
As a HAES (Health at Every Size) clinician, I want my space to welcome everyone and thank you for coming to me no matter what barriers you have faced in the past. As a biracial Chinese American raised by an immigrant mother, I carry stories of resilience, belonging, and the courage it takes to navigate between worlds, and invite you to bring me your unique perspective, struggles, and hopes.
On my days off, I chill with my cats, paint, play video games, take walks, and watch Chinese dramas with my sister.
