Holly Grey is a licensed professional counselor and national certified counselor at our Wexford – VIP Drive clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. She has over 12 years of clinical experience. She has provided services in a variety of settings including outpatient therapy, residential treatment, college counseling and group therapy. Holly has also worked with various populations such as older adults, individuals with autism, children, adolescents, college students, adults, families and couples. In addition, Holly has management experience as the clinical director at a mental health treatment facility where she supervised the practice of other clinicians and counseling interns. Holly received her Master of Science in community counseling from Gannon University and has since done most of her clinical practice within the Erie community.
Holly facilitates therapy from a holistic angle, encouraging individuals to manifest their goals through healthy thought and accountability. Holly works with adults, young adults and couples and has been particularly effective in tackling issues related to stress management, relationship problems, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, body image, gender identification and self esteem.
Holly’s approach to therapy is both collaborative and direct in an effort to encourage individuals to constantly take a self inventory. She encourages and challenges those she works with to continually reinvent life goals while keeping in mind the important connection between mind, body and spirit. Holly’s perspective about therapy is strongly rooted in the importance of balanced self care activities along with mindfulness practice in an effort to help individuals foster mental health proactively rather than re-actively. On a personal level, Holly is closely connected to nature and therefore believes that spending time outdoors and having personal hobbies is particularly healing and beneficial to mental health and personal balance.
