Luann Richardson is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at our Wexford – VIP Drive clinic who provides psychiatry services in-person and via telehealth. She has additional experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She integrates a holistic approach serving patients with a variety of mental health concerns across the ages of 13 – 80. She has expertise in treating depression and mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma disorders and neuro-cognitive disorders (dementia).

Luann believes in the patient-centered approach that promotes recovery.

Luann currently is an Associate Professor at Robert Morris University School of Nursing and Health Sciences. In her academic world, she enjoys teaching nurse practitioner students and has published and presented on topics such as cognitive deficits, mental health of older adults, and pediatric obsessive compulsive disorder. Luann received her undergraduate in Nursing from the University of Alabama with Master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
