Carla Baker, MA, is a clinician at the Wexford – VIP office providing psychotherapy services in-person and via telehealth. Carla recently earned her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. During her internship, she gained valuable experience at a trauma-focused agency dedicated to supporting victims of sexual abuse and trafficking. Prior to her academic pursuits, Carla spent over a decade in the corporate sector, ascending the corporate ladder and understanding the importance of achieving work-life balance. Carla is a firm believer in the individual’s power to make choices. She frequently employs feminist and existential approaches to probe deeply into core issues, emphasizing present-focused strategies to facilitate future change. Additionally, Carla adopts a person-centered methodology, meeting clients where they are and utilizing holistic interventions to support their growth and well-being.
