Julie is a psychology doctoral resident, having graduated from the APA-accredited Counseling Psychology Doctoral Program at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. With a compassionate approach, Dr. Englert addresses a wide spectrum of psychological challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, grief and loss, life transitions, and career issues. Her therapeutic style is integrative, incorporating Interpersonal Process Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness. With experience in college counseling centers and in-patient psychiatric hospitals, Julie believes in establishing safe and trusting therapeutic relationships and collaborating with clients to enhance their lives. Holding a BA in Media Communications from the University of Pittsburgh, she brings a multicultural awareness gained from her diverse background to her practice. Julie, a Pittsburgh native, is also an avid photographer and musician who enjoys nature walks, baking, and quality time with friends, family, cats, and a dog.
