Master of Social Work
Connecting with ourselves and healing our relationships—with ourselves and with others—is essential for personal growth. I view relationships as a vast space for learning and transformation, where we can explore how trauma, oppression, and hierarchical systems of power impact our well-being. As collaborators, we will identify patterns once formed from a place of protection and survival, cultivate alignment between your values and your actions, and work together towards finding new ways of being.
My therapeutic approach is informed by queer theory, a systems-based perspective, and trauma-informed practice. I am committed to a harm reduction and liberatory lens, recognizing the importance of community and the impact of intergenerational trauma as well as systemic and interpersonal harm. I prioritize self-accountability while meeting clients where they are in their journey. In our work together, we will co-create a space that embodies warmth, honesty, connection, and safety.
I approach each session with curiosity rather than judgment, fostering an environment where you can explore your experiences freely. Together, we will navigate the complexities of your life, empowering you to heal and grow in a way that aligns with your values and aspirations. I look forward to working together!
Areas of practice include: mood disorders, substance use, trauma and PTSD, neurodivergence, gender and sexuality issues, disability and chronic illness, children and adolescents.
