Angelina Hernley is a provider at our South Hills clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. Angelina earned a Master’s of Science in Education at Duquesne University while working as a Coordinator at a local Psychiatric Child and Adolescent Hospital. Angelina has also previously worked as a Family Based Therapist with children, adolescents, families, and adults. Her varied professional settings have allowed her to become proficient in a variety of therapeutic modalities. Angelina guides individuals to utilize self awareness, build a positive self image, and practice coping strategies to aid in self regulation.
Angelina’s therapeutic approach includes elements of Attachment Theory, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy. She provides counseling and interventions in the areas of anger management, autism, anxiety, depression, self-harm, family and marriage relationship difficulties.
A commendation that Angelina has received from past directors is her ability to create and maintain strong therapeutic relationships. She strives to provide unconditional positive regard and a space for clients to explore, strengthen, and refine the best versions of themselves. Angelina is proficient in crisis de-escalation and stabilizing clients.
