Willingness is the first step in the right direction, I’m glad you’re here!

Maybe you’re feeling ambivalent about the process and the thought of getting started feels daunting, or maybe you’re excited and already have some goals in mind.
Either way, I will meet you where you’re at and collaborate with you to determine how to make the most of our time together.

I have experience working with individuals who have grappled with substance use disorder, mood and anxiety disorders, and PTSD. I have a substance abuse disorder counseling background and have found harm reduction strategies to be effective when applied appropriately.

Therapy is meant to be a safe space which means we move at your pace and in your time. Maybe this wasn’t your experience in the past and you would like to chat about expectations before getting started – we can absolutely do that.

We will develop goals to provide a therapeutic focus and direction. This will allow us to measure our progress working together over time and assist in determining next steps. I value open communication and collaboration in the therapeutic space and find it an honor to take part in another’s growth journey.
