Master of Social Work

Hi, I am Ashika. I offer therapy services at our Wexford – Stonewood Drive clinic!

I enjoy working with individuals across the life span who are willing to create a therapeutic relationship and make positive changes. Sometimes it can be difficult to make that first step towards change, so I am willing to provide the support and encouragenent needed to get you there. I have experience in residential treatment, specialized programming, crisis intervention, and outpatient. I also have specialized experience in foster care system, and working with the elderly. I use a person-centered holistic approach where you are respected, provided with a safe space to tell your story, and judgement free.

Together we can create a positive working environment that will foster growth. I have experience working with an array of mental health diagnosis and uses different modalities (DBT/CBT). I also work with individuals who have chronic stress, major life changes, grief, trauma, suicidal ideations, chronic pain, relationship conflicts, parental issue and more.

I am originally from Jamaica and lived in Pennsylvania for 7 years. Received my BSW from CalU and masters in social work from University of Pittsburgh. I lived abroad and do research studies as an ambassador for the colleges. I love travelling and experiencing different cultures. I look forward to working with you and your family.
