Jessica Lewis, MSW

Master Social Worker

I am a clinician at our Meadowlands clinic who provides therapy services!

My ideal client would be a client that presents with any concern within the following categories: depression, anxiety, mood disorders, LGBTQIA+, coming of age (adolescents), and Borderline Personality Disorder. Their needs would include weekly sessions with the use of motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, and CBT or DBT related modalities. Their goals would include but are not limited to having a better understanding of their bodies and the changes they are or will be going through, building a better quality of life for themselves, processing through trauma, regulating mood, and utilizing self care options.

I believe that I can offer a variety of treatment modalities and approaches. Building rapport with the client is the most important part of a strong therapeutic relationship. A understanding of your client and what they are going through from their perspective is first step to meeting them where they are. Offering activities like worksheets, journaling exercises, and art therapy. Using modalities like CBT and DBT are important and useful, though it is important to know how to tailor to the individuality of your client.

I am a empathetic and compassionate social worker with a broad knowledge of the mental health concerns. I work hard to meet my clients where they are in their mental health journey and use my knowledge and professional guidance to help them accomplish their goals and the progress forward in all aspects of life without limitation.
