Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I enjoy working with all age groups, but I am most comfortable with clients 18 years of age and older. I work with clients with a wide range of mental health disorders. An ideal client is anyone seeking help for their mental health, especially for those who are taking the necessary steps to help themselves engage in a healthier way of life, both physically and mentally.

I am a new PMHNP graduate with over 7 years of experience as nurse in a variety of medical and mental health settings. I enjoy working with all age groups, more particularly 18 years of age and older. My specific specialty is geriatric clients. It is my goal to make each client feel empowered to make changes in their overall health through a specific and individualized plan of care. Each one of us has unique characteristics and qualities that requires careful planning and extensive assessments with a collaborative approach including other mental health specialists. My goal is to provide compassionate care that includes a non-judgmental environment so as each client feels safe, which will provide a catalyst for the best care possible.

I want to offer a warm environment to develop a healthy and therapeutic relationship. I want to make a positive impact and change, on those who are focused on commitment to improving their mental health problems. As well as strengthening and fortifying other needs as well. I enjoy meeting new clients and taking on challenges that also help me build on my foundational therapeutics as well as proper diagnoses and treatment protocols.
