Kareem Ash, LPC is a seasoned Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor at our Wexford – VIP Drive clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. She is backed by a rich educational background including a Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling from Bowling Green State University and a Behavior Analysis Certificate from the Florida Institute of Technology. Since 1999, she has been deeply involved in Associates in Counseling & Child Guidance, climbing the ranks from Mobile Therapist to Director of Outpatient Services. She joined New Directions Mental Health as a part time therapist providing telehealth services.
Over the years, Kareem has amassed a broad range of psychotherapy experience, including specialized services in family/relationship counseling, anxiety, depression, and applied behavior analysis among others. Her prior experience also includes a tenure as a Clinical Supervisor where she provided administrative supervision and psychotherapy services. In addition to her professional commitments, Kareem is an active member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and has served in leadership roles within community organizations.
