Claire Boykiw is a Licensed Professional Counselor at our Wexford – VIP Drive clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. Claire provides therapy to adults and older adolescents. Claire works with a variety of presenting concerns, such as trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use and addiction issues, communication and relational issues, identity concerns, and self-esteem. Claire takes a collaborative, relational approach to therapy, meeting clients with warmth, empathy and authenticity.
Claire has experience across multiple clinical settings, including community mental health, substance use rehabilitation and university counseling. She is committed to co-creating a non-judgmental space with clients wherein they feel safe to grow, learn and express themselves. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), Claire helps clients identify their values and work toward what is meaningful to them. She values diversity and considers it a distinct honor to witness and share in the unique stories and healing of each client.
Claire grew up in western PA and holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading and spending time with family and friends.
