Sally Crompton is a Licensed Professional Counselor at our Wexford – VIP Drive clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth. She specializes in providing therapy to adolescents and adults. Over the past 30 years, Sally has gained experience working in various clinical settings including in home and community mental health.
Sally’s therapeutic approach focuses on skill-building using a strengths-based perspective. Her experience and training provides a wealth of knowledge and compassion. She received intensive CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) training through The Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy. She completed Primary and Advanced REBT (Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy), training with Albert Ellis, at the Albert Ellis Institute. She studied Motivational Interviewing with William Miller at the University of New Mexico. She has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management and stress management.
Sally identifies with the whole person. She integrates a faith-based approach to those who request services.
Sally has resided in the Pittsburgh area for over 30 years. She earned a Master’s of Education in Counselor Education through The State University of Pennsylvania. She continues on her personal quest of knowledge and skill and recently completed Brene Brown’s The Daring Way-Certification Training.
