Sean Ramsey, MA is a graduate of Waynesburg University with a Master of Counseling degree and brings a wealth of experience from his time at Therapeutic Healing Services. There, he provided support to individuals grappling with a diverse range of challenges, including traumatic experiences, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and life changes. Sean also enjoys working with relationship issues and provides marital counseling.
Sean offers individual counseling services to adults across all age groups as well as adolescents aged 12 and up. He specializes in addressing trauma, which can manifest in numerous ways, including neglect, sexual and physical trauma, and crisis situations. Sean adopts a holistic, trauma-informed approach, incorporating elements of Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy to create a comprehensive and client-centered treatment plan. He develops every plan in collaboration with his clients, aiming to set goals, enhance skills, and navigate life’s complexities together.
When Sean isn’t providing therapy, he loves spending time outdoors. Golfing, hiking with his wife and dog, and camping are among his favorite pastimes.
