I am a Nationally Certified Counselor who graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in 2021. I also received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018. In addition to counseling, I have experience working as a Psychometrist at a clinical neuropsychology private practice.
I want clients to feel confident and find relief from their problems to help them live their best lives. I want clients to increase their self-worth and confidence, live a balanced life, have increased school/work satisfaction, maintain healthier relationships and boundaries, attain goals, reduce physical and mental symptoms, and establish peace of mind.
My goal is to collaboratively work with clients to help them reach their emotional, physical, and psychological well-being wants and needs. I believe therapy should center on communication development, self-advocacy, self-determination, perspective-taking, problem-solving, and helping clients to discover something new about themselves.
My first focus is on building a warm, collaborative, and genuinely supportive relationship with clients. Counseling should be a process that can aid in strategies to increase success and improve personal wellness. Outside of work, I enjoy spending my free time with my family and dog. I also enjoy sports and am an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
